The core of the system is the robust Genesis MSSQL Data Engine which keeps track of each part of the production process – and much more besides.

Now Editors, writers, advertisement sales and administration staff can all work in a “virtual environment” from anywhere geographically yet all feel part of a team effort and ensure the success of the title. The requirements are a simple PC or MAC connected via broadband and an account with any of the Genesis modules.

This is a perfect solution for publishers employing sub-contractors, freelancers or home workers therefore eliminating the need for expensive office costs. It can also allow workers to be anywhere in the globe and gain access to the system
24/7.

Provided as an Application Server Program all hardware and software is provided as part of the rental package, which is offered on a monthly fixed fee, per seat basis. This means that there is no need for expensive hardware and software to purchase or the need for engineers and IT staff to maintain in-house systems. All updates, program enhancements and maintenance is inclusive within the Genesis pricing as well as a dedicated help-line and dedicated customer manager.
